New reproduction exhaust mounting bracket for the diesel Vanagon, VW part number 068 251 370. This is the bracket that carries the rear silencer.
Why you need one: the original factory bracket is a known weak point and is very commonly found snapped clean across the mounting holes, which drops the back of the silencer. A replacement is the usual fix, and originals in one piece are hard to find.
Construction: laser cut steel, CNC bent and zinc plated. This is a reproduction, not a genuine VW part.
Condition: new and never fitted. The plating is bright, with some light grey speckling and handling marks over the flat face from storage, shown honestly in the photos. There are no bolt witness marks around any hole and no exhaust heat discolouration anywhere on it. The cut edges are clean, the welds are sound, and every hole is clear and unelongated.
Fitment: diesel and turbo diesel Vanagon / T3. There are early and late variants of this bracket, so compare the shape and the hole pattern in the photos against the bracket on your own van, and check which side you need, before ordering. The photos show it from three angles for exactly that reason.
