Genuine OEM Volkswagen 16 valve DOHC intake manifold with the throttle body still attached. Part numbers 027133223 and 037133061.

What you are getting: the complete upper intake assembly off a 1.8 16V, not a bare throttle body. The cast plenum carries the factory VW roundel and the raised DOHC-16V script picked out in blue. Attached to it is the progressive twin-bore throttle body, with the throttle position switch and its three-pin connector, the idle adjustment screw, the throttle linkage and cam, and the factory brackets. Both butterflies are present and move freely through their full travel, primary and secondary.

Fitment: this is the 16 valve manifold, so it fits the 16V cars only – Golf GTI 16V, Jetta GLI 16V, 16V, 16V, MK2 era, KR and PL engine codes. It will not fit an 8 valve head. A popular core for a 16V swap or a spare for a running car.

Condition: used and cosmetically rough, exactly as pictured. The aluminium runners carry heavy white oxidation and general road grime across the whole casting, and there is some fibrous debris around the throttle body flange. The castings are sound with no cracks and no broken mounting ears, threads and flanges are intact, and the throttle mechanism is free. It has not been cleaned or media blasted – what you see in the photos is what ships, and it will clean up considerably if you want it presentable.
