Genuine Volkswagen cruise control bracket for the Vanagon / T3, part number 025 130 372 A. This is the mount that holds the cruise control actuator – the vacuum servo that pulls the throttle when the cruise is set. VW’s own catalogue wording for it is the support for the speed regulator adjustment element.
Why this is worth having: the cruise control brackets are one of those small pieces that vanish. They get thrown out with the engine, they rust, or they simply never came with the van because cruise was optional. If you are retrofitting cruise control to a Vanagon, or you have the actuator and no way to mount it, this is the piece that is missing, and it is not a part you can easily fabricate to the right geometry.
Genuine factory part, not a reproduction. Cast with the VW and Audi roundels and Germany, and the part number is crisply legible in the photos.
Form: pressed steel in the factory grey finish. A flat mounting flange with two slotted holes at one end, and a curved saddle at the other with a single fixing hole, shaped to cradle the cylindrical body of the actuator and clamp it down.
Note for anyone doing a full retrofit: there is a companion bracket in the same number series, 025 130 371 A, so check your parts diagram to see whether your installation needs one bracket or both.
Condition: used and in good order. The grey finish is largely intact with light surface marks and a few small spots of corrosion at the edges. The bracket is straight, not bent or twisted, both flange slots and the saddle hole are clean and unelongated, and the part number is fully readable.
