Category:

Genuine OEM Volkswagen air flow meter harness, part number 025 906 302 A. This is the factory “Vanagon Syndrome” fix harness. Made by VW, not a reproduction.

What it does: VW released this harness to cure the Digifant driveability fault known to every Vanagon owner as Vanagon Syndrome. After a long stretch at steady speed the van starts hesitating, surging and losing power. The cause is an unstable signal voltage from the air flow meter, and this harness provides the signal voltage stabilization that fixes it.

How it fits: it installs between the main engine harness connector and the air flow meter connector. It simply plugs in at both ends, so there is no cutting and no splicing into the factory loom.

Markings:
– OEM VW 025 906 302 A printed on the sleeve, with the VW roundel
– Moulded factory connector at each end, one right-angle AFM plug with locking tabs

Condition: used original, cable and both connectors intact, part number sleeve still clearly legible. Sold exactly as pictured.

Fits 1986-1991 Volkswagen Vanagon with the 2.1 litre watercooled engine only. This is a model specific harness, not a general purpose relay lead.

Note that the genuine VW harness is long discontinued. The aftermarket reproductions of this exact part currently sell new for around $99, and this is the original VW item they copy.
